rio, a boy living in a remote village, attends the village dojo for self-defense, but gives up the idea that he cannot become stronger under the dojo’s teaching methods. however, the village is a dangerous place, and rio decides to create his own way of fighting – “garyu kenjutsu” – in order to survive! a royal road fantasy of swords and magic is about to begin!
